UGH! Rip Off


Very unhappy with this company. Called to cancel because I never used and was put on hold forever. When I finally got through to a customer service rep., I was given the runaround while he tried to talk me out of cancelling using some high pressure tacticts. On top of it, they won't prorate my fee for cancelling. VERY unhappy!

Stamps.com is sorry to hear you experienced this issue when you called to cancel our service. We understand the frustration this must have caused you and we will definitely investigate the matter.

Stamps.com charges a flat monthly fee associated with all open accounts (regardless of account activity) at the end of each billing cycle. Billing cycles are based on the date the account was initially registered.

We ensure that our customers see our Terms and Conditions before they create their accounts. During the process of registration, we present fee and Trial Period information. Our billing structure is also explained before we ask for a credit card. Stamps.com follows up immediately with a Welcome E-mail that reiterates this process. We also ask customers interested in our service to read the Service Agreement and the information contained in their Welcome E-mail.
