    I've used stamps.com for over seven years, and I have been very happy with their service! There are places that offer similar products, but these places don't provide the awesome support that I get with stamps.com. I print hundreds of labels for my small business. I try to be careful, but I make printing mistakes (I'm human, after all). One time, I made a very costly postage mistake and the USPS denied me a refund on the postage due to a technicality.     I have used Stamps.com for years, as an 10 year eBay seller and personally. I have shipped 1000's and 1000's of packages all over the US, APO and FPO through Stamps.com.   • Correcting my problem!



    I tried several times with emails to correct my problem with your company. So I decided to just call the phone number. I talked to a young lady and I think her name was Kathy. She directed me on what to do which was nothing like the emails told me to do. She fixed my problem in about 10 minutes but we talked about 20 minutes with me telling her what all I had been instructed to do. We had a lot of laughs and she was precious.     I had received numerous software via mail for trial Stamps.com and finally decded to give it try when i got tired of being out of postage stamps at the wrong time and hate the hassle of getting to Post Office.     I had an excellent experience Stamps.com's customer service. I called to discontinue the service prior to the end of the free trial period and the service representative was extremely courteous and understanding. As to be expected, she inquired as to the reason why I am dropping the service. Based on the my reason, she extended the trial period an additional month.     I am handicapped, on a fixed income. I rely heavily on Stamps.com because I am not mobile and need to have postal services "come to me". They are so wonderful I would use them if I could dance a jig on a flagpole! I use Stamps.com for, literally, everything the Post Office can do without the inconvenience.     I had called to cancel my account due to financial reasons, the representative understood what the reasoning was and asked a few questions and offered me a different package at a lower rate each month. Plus she waived this month's fee for me. She was very good and polite and the biggest thing was that she wasn't pushy like some other companies tend to be when you cancel with them.     I was ready to print a sheet of stamps, and my printer did not select the right tray. The "top" tray was empty, and hence no stamps printed. My writtten request for a "refund" was denied, and so I decided to call stamps.com. The agent listened to my dilemma, and offered to credit my account with my requested postage. Problem solved!     I sell online, and going to the post office everyday was not only expensive, but very time consuming. I was told by a friend, about Stamps.com. In looking into it, I realized I would not only save gas, but precious time. I got a commercial mailbox, and do all my shipping from my home office.     I have had Stamps.com for sometime and really liked the software and convienance. When I purchased a new printer Stamps.com could not talk with it. I was frustrated. I called Stamps.com and talked to Chris (one of their tech's) and was amazed at the personal touch Chris had as well as his knowledge. Within twenty minutes I was up and running again. Ten minutes of that was time I had to download an upgrade from the company I purchased the new printer from and Chris stayed on the line and we simply chatted. What wonderful customer service. Each of the three gentlemen I spoke with were very courteous, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful!     I love the fact that I don't have to go to the post office anymore to get stamps. I personally couldn't imagine having to go to the post office, waiting in line, and having a less than competent postal employee explain to me all the different options etc to mail packages. With this software I just print and ship. People complain a lot about their customer service, but you have to understand that they lose money when you cancel, so they are going to do everything they can to keep you as a customer.     I have subscribed to Stamps.com for many years, and it is a terrific service. I belong to a book swap web site where books don't cost anything, but when I send a book to someone, I pay postage (and when I receive a book from someone, they pay the postage). It's a very active paperbookswap.com web site, and using Stamps.com for that alone would be worth the monthly subscription to Stamps. com.     Stamps.com has been 100% great. Their software is so easy to use that it makes it fun. I am amazed at how easy my mailings have become. Items such as postage, tracking and address book are just one click away. I don't understand the bad reviews it has received regarding the "hidden" fees.     At http://trendytree.com we ship approximately 5,000 packages a year via USPS and UPS. We had been struggling printing our USPS labels one at a time via another source and after timing out between most every label, we decided it was time to give Stamps.com a try.
